PASSION

2024

RELEASE

“PASSION”, an intense and provocative work. This 35-minute physical performance, directed by Edith Buttingsrud Pedersen, invites viewers to explore profound questions about identity, courage, and the search for human essence. Edith shares her reflections on the creation process of “Passion”, offering a unique and moving insight into the artistic and emotional journey behind the work. “During the creation process of 'Passion', the cast of Company Cisne Negro and I sought ways to see ourselves as bodies of white matter and mass without prejudice or judgment. We asked ourselves: what remains when we lose our self and ego? How can we find the courage to remain lost?‘ explains Edith Buttingsrud Pedersen.
