Synopsis
This creation by Gigi Caciuleanu, with the participation of Dan Mastacan, uses the concept of theatre within theatre, based on Mozart's "life as an itinerant artist" and his affinity with traveling troupes. The acceptance of the artist's condition, with all its inconveniences, finally explodes in "Laudamus," in pure joy of dancing, with a posthumous tribute to art, both Mozartian and choreographic. Gigi Caciuleanu

Director, choreographer, dancer and teacher, born in Bucharest, naturalized French, he is one of the most original personalities within the universe of contemporary dance. This "Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters" of France and member of the "International Dance Council" of Unesco has works of surprising repercussion in the four continents and in the most important dance companies of the world (Bolshoi Ballet, Paris Opera, Lyon, Hamburg, Rome, Wupperthaler Tanztheater, Théâtre de Rennes, West Berlin, Istanbul, Lisbon, Casablanca, Rabat, among others). He has received numerous international awards and decorations. For many years, he was director and choreographer-in-residence at the Théâtre Choréographique de Rennes. Gigi has his own company, the Compagnie Gigi Cacileanu, based in Paris and has also directed the National Ballet of Chile.
