RELEASE

“INSTAR” is a neoclassical performance – technically, it's the result of a shift from the more traditional way of dancing, where movements have become less rigid, more flexible, and lighter. Neoclassical ballet is inspired by the classical style, but with the difference represented in these movements that previously demanded more rigidity. With this transformation, the movements gain greater speed and a more expressive and impactful capacity than the classical model. If before dance was to be seen as something perfect and symmetrical, in the case of neoclassical ballet, it's possible to notice a deliberate and intriguing asymmetry and imbalance. The first encounter brings the most special moment, one that will never be repeated. Before the first meeting, we have our concerns; when we meet, each of us operates with our own fear of how it will affect us; afterwards, we may take time to evaluate the relationship. Today, more than ever, creation has moved to places where the performer's skill can be a great influence on creative achievements. Utilize the dancer's inner talent, and then, when asked, adjust and copy.
