Based on the work of Pablo Neruda, this show illustrates the "elementary odes" of this poet: ode to the simple man – ode to restlessness – ode to the third day – ode to the fertility of the earth – ode to joy – ode to the sea – ode to the past – ode to the air – ode to the rain – ode to the storm – ode to solitude – ode to poverty – ode to criticism.

Luis Arrieta

Born in Buenos Aires, he arrived in Brazil in 1974 at the invitation of Marilena Ansaldi to join Ballet Stagium. During more than 40 years as a dancer, choreographer and artistic director, he has created one of the most outstanding works in the art of dance produced in Brazil. With almost one hundred choreographies, he played a decisive role in the history of important companies, such as Balé da Cidade de São Paulo and Balé Teatro Castro Alves, of Salvador. He was twice artistic director of Balé da Cidade de São Paulo and was one of the founders and artistic director of Elo Ballet de Câmara Contemporâneo, of Belo Horizonte.
