A dancing dive into the universe of Itamar Assumpção

Cisne Negro Dance Company invites the public to the premiere of its new show: "How About the Impossible?", a bold and sensitive creation that delves into the rich sound and poetry of singer and composer Itamar Assumpção.

With choreography by Jorge Garcia, an artist who was previously part of the company and now returns as a guest creator, and artistic direction by Dany Bittencourt, who leads the company that has been a benchmark in Brazilian contemporary dance for 48 years.

The original soundtrack is by Maurício Badé and Bruno Buarque, with musical curation by Anelis Assumpção, and special appearances by Anelis and Rubi Assumpção. The costumes, designed by João Pimenta, and lighting by Rossana Boccia complete the sensory and visual experience.
