Synopsis
Clouds of Inverness was a musical composition created by Kevin Keller as part of his 2021 album, Shimmer. Seeking a new collaboration, Caruso interviewed Keller to understand his vision for the soundscape. In doing so, and understanding his desire to create music that emulated his memories of the peace and beauty of clouds passing over the Scottish landscape, Caruso, in turn, created choreography to elevate his vision from a movement perspective. Both the sound and the choreography are aligned to create a mesmerizing and meditative tapestry of movement.

Maria Caruso

Maria Angelica Caruso is a Pittsburgh native dancer, choreographer, academic, and entrepreneur known for her multifaceted contributions to humanity and dance. Caruso's businesses encompass a professional dance company, a dance conservatory, a fitness program, and a dance movement therapy system, all under the Bodiography brand. Focused on inclusion within the arts ecosystem, she maintains Bodiography's vision while investing in higher education, directing creative and innovative initiatives in the Performing Arts Department at La Roche University. M-Train Productions is Caruso's foray into commercial production within the creative sector.
As a dramatic stage performer, Caruso is best known for her critically acclaimed solo show, Metamorphosis, which began off-Broadway in 2021 and followed with a global tour in London's West End in the summer of 2022.
