Four Seasons For Three

2025

The piece, inspired by Max Richter's reconstruction of Four Seasons Vivaldi's work masterfully captures the transitions of nature through textures, forms, and choreographic speeds. The piece, created for the dancers of Cisne Negro, reflects the deep artistic connection I have with the company. “Every opportunity I have to create new works for the Swan Company's repertoire, I seize with grace and gratitude. This company occupies a very deep place in my heart and feels like a second home,” shared Caruso.

The residency during which Caruso developed Four Seasons For Three It was a particularly enriching experience for both me and the dancers. My long-standing relationship with the principal dancers allowed for a continuous creative process, while the new members of the company were inspired by the collaboration and fully embraced the artistic journey. It was these ambitious newcomers who inspired Caruso to think beyond the scope of a trio, demonstrating their incredible dedication. “It’s the gift that keeps on being offered,” Caruso observed.
