The artistic director of Cisne Negro Dance Company, Dany Bittencourt, met this week with the Minister of Culture, Margareth Menezes, to discuss essential topics for strengthening dance in Brazil.

The agenda included topics related to incentive laws and support for artists, groups, and companies that bring to the public one of the most important artistic expressions for the country's culture: dance. The meeting reinforces the need to broaden the dialogue between public authorities and the professionals who build, preserve, and renew the Brazilian artistic scene.

During the meeting, Dany Bittencourt was able to share about the artistic work of Cisne Negro, a company founded by Hulda Bittencourt and recognized for its trajectory marked by excellence, innovation, and contribution to Brazilian contemporary and classical dance. Currently artistically directed by Dany, the company continues to be a reference in the cultural scene, bringing its art to different audiences and keeping alive a history built with sensitivity, dedication, and commitment to culture.
