Synopsis
Based on the works of Cândido Portinari, "Morte e Vida Severina" (Death and Life of Severina). It shows the journey of a migrant during the northeastern drought, portraying a Brazilian reality. "Burial in a Hammock," "Scarecrow in the Rice Field," and "Washerwomen" are examples of this work. The piece is related to the 1945 Generation of Brazilian Modernism.
