Synopsis
Além da Pele, do coreógrafo francês Patrick Delcroix, foi criada especialmente para a Cisne Negro Cia. de Dança. Segundo o próprio Patrick a essência da coreografia pode ser traduzida pelas seguintes palavras: “Além da aparência, nós podemos ser qualquer outra coisa, ter uma outra personalidade, ter outros desejos, ou sermos nós mesmos. Cada um é a sua própria imaginação”.

Patrick Delcroix

He participated for 15 years in Jiri Kylian's Nederlands Dans Theatre, one of the most important companies in the world, first as a dancer and then as choreographer-resident. Delcroix has participated in the works of great choreographers: Billy Forsythe, Mats Ek, Edouard Lock, Ohad Naharin, Nacho Duato, Hans van Manen, besides Kylian. From '90 on, he developed a series of choreographies for various European groups and since '92 has been teaching the NDT repertoire at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. In 2001, Patrick Delcroix was made a Gentleman of Arts and Letters by the French government for his work in the world of dance. In addition to Reflecting in the Mirror, Delcroix has choreographed for Cisne Negro Cia. de Dança the ballets Além da Pele (1998) and Cherché, Trouvé, Perdu (2002).
