SANTANDER <\/strong>presents Open Curtains\" Festival<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  Santander Theater reopens to the public with a festival that brings together concerts, theater, dance and a special Christmas concert, between November 6 and December 20<\/strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paula Toller, Vanessa da Mata, Ana Carolina, Tiago Abravanel and \"A Mentira\", with Miguel Falabella and Zez\u00e9 Polessa, are among the attractions of the festival, which will also have \"The Magic of the Nutcracker\", presented by Ana Botafogo, and a great Christmas Concert conducted by Jo\u00e3o Carlos Martins<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cultural industry slowly resumes its activities and the Santander Theater<\/strong> reopens its doors. Committed to promoting a good experience in the return of cultural activities, paralyzed since the arrival of the Covid-19 pandemic in early 2020, the theater gathers in S\u00e3o Paulo, among November 6th<\/strong> e December 20,<\/strong> an mix<\/em> of attractions from various artistic manifestations in the Open Curtains Festival.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The festival will offer a menu of varied attractions, with the intention of showing the public, in a short space of time, the various artistic manifestations that normally occupy the theater, and will be a season prior to the return of the acclaimed musical Donna Summer Musical<\/strong> to the theater in January 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To ensure the safety and health of its audience and employees, there will be temperature measurement and sanitizing and drying mats to enter the theater; the use of masks will be mandatory; alcohol gel dispensers will be available in several places in the space. In addition, the audience will be limited to 50% of total capacity and the theater will work with a checkered seating chart, respecting the social distance of 1.5 meters; exit organized by rows to avoid crowding, according to the protocols for the return of face-to-face activities. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Magic of the Nutcracker, presented by Ana Botafogo<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The curtains of Teatro Santander open for the audience to enjoy Cisne Negro Cia de Dan\u00e7a's \"The Magic of the Nutcracker\", presented by one of Brazil's most important dance stars, Ana Botafogo. The show will present Act II of the ballet and on stage, besides the dancers of Cisne Negro, with 42 years of existence and the title of one of the best contemporary companies in the country, will also be two special guests, the first dancers of the Theatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro, M\u00e1rcia Jaqueline (also first dancer of the Salzburger Landestheater, in Austria) and C\u00edcero Gomes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With wonderful music by Tchaikovsky, the ballet tells the fantasy of Clara, who on Christmas night gets a nutcracker doll from her godfather. When everyone goes to bed, Clara goes into the living room to play with her new present, falls asleep, and enters the world of fantasy. The toys come to life, dance, fight, travel to The Kingdom of Snows and The Kingdom of Sweets, where Clara and her prince are honored with dances typical of several countries and with a graceful pas-de-deux<\/em> of the Sugar Fairy. It is a work full of fantasy and romanticism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
